Saint John, with major sites prominent, is enjoyed by its feathered denizens, and a turkey. This is my first drawing that includes Navy Island, in the harbour, a place I’d never heard of growing up. It has become the latest addition to my Saint John maps, which are also maps of my childhood. Barrack Green is represented by a trumpet, because my parents danced to Louis Armstrong there.
