Saint John Coat of Arms
The Saint John coat of arms features two moose on either side of a shield that is divided into four sections intended to symbolize elements of the city. Fish and barrels to represent fishing and export, a ship to represent Saint John’s prolific shipbuilding days, trees to represent New Brunswick’s vast forests, and beavers to represent trade and industriousness. The motto along the bottom translates to “O Fortunate Ones Whose Walls Are Now Rising”; 18″ x 24″
